Crashcoruse Paraguay started off with two tribes of 8, the Pyta Tribe wearing red and the Moroti Tribe wearing white. Early on, Pyta proved to be the more dysfunctional tribe of the two with competing alliances of Margaret, Brandon, and Jamie against Cindy, Brianna, and Brian. However, the two sides were able to unite in their dislike of Jim and Morgan (who was a last minute replacement). However, a fued between Brianna and Jamie began to emerge. Moroti was much more clean cut, with Ruth Marie and Melinda being one power duo, and Nick and Aras being the other. Shane managed to land himself in the majority early on, with Danielle well-liked and Misty and Dan on the outs.

From there, the two tribes squared off in the innagural season of Crashcourse. Despite their crazy dynamics, the Pyta tribe scored back to back wins, forcing Moroti to send Dan home. Ruth Marie was slotted to go home second due to her poor challenge skills, but Misty asked to be voted out due to real life reasons, which the tribe respected. From there, the players got a devastating announcement: there would be no challenge and BOTH tribes would go to tribal council. Moroti was devastated that they would have lost 3 members and still not win a challenge while Pyta didn't want to vote anyone out because they hadn't lost yet. When Moroti finally voted out Ruth Marie, and Pyta's lack of time to strategize resulted in a 3-2-2 vote where Jamie got the most votes. But in a surprise twist, the two players weren't voted out, but they would then become captains to choose new tribes in an early swap. Because Jamie wasn't at the live event, the tribe pick duties defaulted to the next highest vote-getter, which was Jim who won the rights in a coin toss.

Following the tribe swap, the tribes remained largely the same, only with Shane and Aras being two former Morotis on a tribe of 5 Pytas, and Margaret, Brandon, and Brian finding themselves in the minority on Moroti. What followed was the Moroti tribe deciding to throw the challenges to make sure original Pytas went home so they could catch up in numbers for the merge, but the plan didn't work when Margaret and Brian emerged as strong challenge performers and won the challenge for the tribe while the others tried to throw it. At Pyta's first tribal council, Shane and Aras set their sites on targeting each other to stay safe, but the original Pyta alliance, now run by Brianna, had different plans and decided to take out Jamie in the game's first power move.

Meanwhile, the Hidden Immunity Idols had been found. Morgan secured the Pyta idol, while Brian managed to sneak the Moroti idol after being swapped. Moroti finally managed to thow the challenge, and they decided to vote out the unsuspecting Brian, who, assuming he was safe, was blindsided with his idol. Moroti lost again and took out social threat Margaret while Brandon managed to bond with his new tribe.

The following round saw the tribes come together to live as one. Most players assumed it would be a merge, but they later found out that they would swap tribes again. The new Pyta tribe lost. Their five voting members consisted of 2 original Pytas, 2 original Morotis, and Aras, who had been on both tribes. Torn between either side, Aras sided with his original tribe to take out Morgan, who was blindsided and also did not play her idol. Morgan became the first juror as the Final 10 merged.

At the merge, an opportunity was given to the players who felt they were in danger: The first three players who wanted it could grab immunity in exchange for an unknown consequence. Now fearing for their lives in the minority, original Pyta members Brianna, Cindy, and Jim all quickly grabbed immunity. WHile Brandon had bonded and found himself a place within the Moroti alliance, the target shifted to Shane, who had recently begun dealing countless side deals and stirring up chaos. At tribal council, the consequence for the immunity takers was that they would lose their votes. Shane was then voted out. In the following rounds, Brianna was sent home first, followed by Cindy, who left in a split-vote while Jim played his newly found idol to save himself. At the final 7, Jim won a crucial immunity, and with no time to think of a backup plan, the Moroti alliance decided to turn on Brandon from the original Pyta tribe.

The final 6 saw Nick win immunity where he was faced with a dilemma: take immunity for the present round, take it for the following round, or take it for both and lose his vote. Nick chose to be immune for 2 rounds and lose his voting rights. At the following tribal, Jim let everyone know that he had another idol, which nobody believed. However, when they called his bluff, they were wrong, and the odds-on favorite to win Danielle was idol'd out of the game. Jim's luck finally ran out at the Final 5 when he got voted out as the last Pyta member left in the game.

The Final 4 consisted of the two original power duos from Moroti: Aras and Nick vs. Melinda and Ruth Marie. Nick's luck, challenge strength, and social skills earned him immunity, leaving the other three vulnerable. Ruth Marie and Melinda stuck together to vote for Aras, while Nick and Aras grew tired of Melinda's crazy tendencies to call people out at tribal and felt they stood a better chance at beating Ruth Marie in a challenge if it was a Final 2. The vote tied, and Melinda left in the tiebreaker. However, the players discovered it was a Final 3, and then went on to face the jury.

At the Final Tribal Council, even though they agreed he played well, Nick was berated for playing the game too "safe" and never really being in any danger. Aras received props for being a loyal and smart player, but ultimately rubbed too many people the wrong way by fighting with them at Tribal Councils. Ruth Marie was awarded the 5-2-1 win for being an underdog who grew into a strong strategic player to make up for her challenge weaknesses over Aras, the runner up, and Nick, who received 1 vote.

Unfortunately the special updates stopped there, but I posted these quick summaries right before the finale:

The two tribes finally merge into the HOVY Tribe. For the next immunity challenge, it is announced that the first 3 people to claim immunity will be given immunity. Cindy, Jim, and Brianna do not hesitate to grab immunity, as they are in the core of the Pyta minority alliance. As a consequence for taking immunity it was announced at Tribal that they would lose their right to vote. SHANE is voted out for being crazy and unpredictable and becomes the second member of the jury. 9 remain.

At the next immunity challenge, Danielle wins immunity in the classic coconut chop/survey challenge. The players are then given the weekend to strategize, but things are shaken up when an Auction takes place merely an hour before Tribal. Many items are bought in sold, but among the most notable are Melinda's immunity advantage, Jim's removing of Nick's PMs for 24 hours, idol clues by Jim and Ruth Marie, and a mystery item by Cindy. Danielle also bought Immunity for the upcoming tribal, but because she was already immune, she gave it to Nick. At tribal, Cindy plays a hidden immunity idol that she just won in the auction, but BRIANNA received the majority of the votes and was voted out. 8 remain.

The players next compete in Hot Tamale, where they pass a tamale around until I announce "STOP," where the player currently hold it is out. Cindy almost pulls out a win (and the players accuse the hosts of rigging it for Cindy icon_evil ) but ultimately Aras wins immunity. The vote ended up being split between Jim and Cindy. Jim plays a hidden immunity idol, and CINDY is then voted out. 7 remain.

The players compete in a variation of musical chairs, but it is announced that TWO players will win immunity. Aras and Jim both manage to snag immunity. Apparently, Jim desperately needed it, because the players are then forced to scramble, and BRANDON, one of the last remaining original Pyta members in the game (who flipped to Moroti) is voted out. 6 remain.

Nick wins "Ready, Aim, Don't Fire!" a luck/strategy based challenge where players must try and post the farthest away from the 'elimination time.' Nick won the challenge with ease, but is faced with a dilemma- Keep immunity for the Final 6, give up immunity for the Final 6 and take it for the Final 5, or take immunity for both the final 5 and 6, but forfeit his vote. Nick chose to forfeit his vote. At tribal, Jim announces that he has another hidden immunity idol, but the others don't believe him. Jim receives all of the votes, but to everyone's surprise, he really DID have an idol, and he played it, idoling out DANIELLE with his lone vote. 5 remain.

The players compete in "Point of No Return," where they pass off their points back and forth amongst each other until only 1 player remains with points. Ruth Marie wins her first challenge of the game. At tribal, with Nick still safe and not able to vote, and Ruth Marie safe as well, Aras, Jim, and Melinda are the only players eligible to be voted for. The Moroti alliance stays strong and finally votes out the last Pyta in the game, sending JIM to the jury. 4 remain.

The Final 4 compete in "Paraguay Piggybacking" where they must complete 5 tasks and post them in the challenge thread, running the risk of others stealing their answers. Aras finished first, followed quickly by Melinda and Nick, who copied Aras' puzzle. However, Aras had 1 piece of the puzzle wrong, and Nick is the first to realize this and correct his mistake, winning immunity. At tribal council, Aras and Melinda each receive 2 votes, sending them into a tiebreaker where they must select what the jury members answer was to a question asked by the hosts. The tiebreaker moves into sudden death, where MELINDA is eliminated and sent to the jury.

The Final 3, still unsure whether they would be a Final 3 or Final 2, find that they are all indeed facing the jury. Final Tribal Council takes place. RUTH MARIE wins 5-2-1 over Aras and Nick.

Ruth Marie: Came back from nearly being ousted due to her challenge weaknesses and ran the game by being the controlling factor in many big moves and blindsides without getting any blood on her hands.

Aras: Pulled off a surprise runner-up finish after losing his cool and letting his emotions get the best of him after he flipped on the Pyta alliance that saved him at the swap.

Nick: Played a nearly flawless game, both socially and strategically, and owned in challenges, but was ultimately deemed to be "too lucky" by the jury to win the vote and finished in a devastating third place.

Melinda: Ran the early stages of the game and controlled her alliance until the heat and intensity of the game ultimately made her lose her cool, where she quickly became a potential goat and was eliminated just shy of the Final Tribal Council in a tiebreaker challenge.

Jim: Survived to be the last Pyta member standing by playing quietly, winning a crucial immunity, and using not only one, but two idols to save him from going home.

Danielle: Started the game out on the outs, but used a tribe swap to work her way back into the majority where she then used her surprisingly adept social skills to claw her way to the top before she was ousted by one of Jim's idols at the Final 6.

Brandon: Sold his soul to the Moroti Alliance to buy himself some time in the game where he would have most likely outlasted most of the Moroti Alliance to make the Final Tribal Council, had it not have been for Jim's unexpected immunity win at the Final 7.

Cindy: Made herself one of the more quiet and most well-liked members of the Pyta alliance and was poised to go far, but ultimately lost control of her game when her alliance went down in numbers at the merge.

Brianna: Started the game off strong by forming and controlling a cultish Pyta alliance. Her downfall came after she decided to save Aras at the tribe swap over one of the original Pyta members and when she lost the majority vote at the merge.

Shane: Played an intense and chaotic game from day one where he constantly flipped and changed his plans on a whim. He became so disliked at the fake merge that his "alliance" decided to vote him out first when the merge finally happened, due to his crazy antics.

Morgan: Started off slow but managed to work herself into a position of power where she essentially controlled Jim and gave Brianna a run for her money as the leader of the Pyta alliance. She was ultimately blindsided at the fake merge with an idol in her pocket after Aras flipped back to work with his original tribe.

Margaret: Was playing one of the strongest social and strategic games out of anyone in the game until she was swapped to the Moroti tribe. She managed to stick around for a little while, but was ultimately unable to save herself when Moroti threw a challenge in order to get rid of her.

Brian: Dominated in challenges from early on and was well-liked by his tribe until he was taken out by the Moroti alliance after the swap for being too much of a challenge threat and asset. He was sent home with an unused idol in his pocket.

Jamie: As one of the most polarizing characters in the game, Jamie found himself in a bad position when his allies were sent to Moroti at the swap and he was stuck on Pyta with the players that desperately wanted to get rid of him. Unfortunately for him, those players got their wish.

Misty: Started the game as a strong personality and while she was not in the core alliance of her tribe, she was set to be safe for quite a while until she ultimately had to ask her tribe to vote her out due to real life issues.

Dan: Annoyed his tribe from day one by focusing on the "ugly" side of his game, and after trying to form the "Ugly Alliance," he was sent packing first.
