So, this started tonight and it's going to last an entire year. It's going to be streamed 24/7 on the internet like Big Brother but they have to fend for themselves like Survivor and build a new society like Kid Nation. So it's three kinds of cool. Y'all should watch this.

The first episode is next Sunday but the live feeds started tonight.

This is literally the greatest thing ever.

It's only Night 1 and this guy (Josh) was already dropping the N bomb and talking about how he's going to punch everyone and get kicked off the show.

And then one of the black guys (Dave) took offense to what he was saying and physically attacked him from behind.

The best part about this whole thing is that production is STILL going to keep them both on the show after all this




ETA: Nvm looks like Josh is going to get expelled.

Definitely the most interesting reality show to air in a decade... BUT I was hoping it would be a bit more different/documentary style and less... Real World cerca 2010

I love drama and all that good shit, but my main complaint with the actual edited show was that it didn't focus enough on the social/economic decisions of the place like running the farm and such. They kind of needed some quiet, filler moments to make the drama more exciting and less trashy. My mom called me on the phone and was like "They just yelled all the time, I won't be watching again."

That's why the live feeds are better. You have more of a sense of what's been going on and you see some of those placid moments where some of the folks are just having a nice chat.

The problem is the show didn't even get 5 million viewers last night so it doesn't look like it'll last too long. They did discuss cutting the feeds entirely if it was going to take away from the episode viewership, which would suck.
