I can't believe people actually quit this show of all shows.

My cousin showed me the girl who quit in America's version because her hair (which was like.... 2 inches long?) had to be cut another half inch... and she quit over that.

At least this puts Survivor quitters in perspective...maybe.

WOAH - #bah-lindsided by that cut PDC! It looks like this rankdown is finally getting fierce with some controversial decisions! ;')

That shit was infuriating and fuck she was dull, dull, dull.. Still, cutting her over Ashley freaking Pogtroll was a brave move and one I actually respect.

Seriously - I fucking loved Caroline in Cycle 2 so this is legitimately the most devastating cut I've made so far for me personally. However, for the good of the Rankdown I was just not ready to cut that nasty piece of tight ass who snagged herself some Leonardo DiCaprio until we saw her in a more fierce face-off and Caroline just isn't quite the deathmatch I had in mind so I guess we'll save Alyce for another day.

Prior to Cycle 2 airing, Caroline was the girl who actually hogged the majority of the pre-season buzz thanks solely to a story that came to the surface saying she was related to none other than Olivia Newton John. I forget exactly what relation she ended up being to ONJ exactly and don't want to delay this write-up anymore than it has already been by looking it up exactly but, from memory, I think it's safe to say I remember it being a fairly "distant" relation, but legitimate none the less. Once Cycle 2 got underway, we were introduced to this slightly arrogant, snobby, privileged little academic princess who considered herself entitled to special treatment due to the fact that she was studying for her HSC while also being in the competition. Caroline is the kind of girl who calls her mother "mummy" on the telephone so it's not a massive surprise when it is revealed, immediately after surviving being eliminated standing next to Hiranthi (who was, very sadly, sent home), that she cannot handle the pressures of trying to get into Med School and modelling at the same time and she decides to quit the competition in the following manner (you will want to watch this):



Some of my favorite parts of the entire cycle are in that one minute clip, I just love how the producers subtly sold Caroline down the river in the whole bit without being savage enough that they might get backlash from people for being too harsh on a girl who chose study over modelling but the fact that they included so many shots of the girls reacting like this

(as Caroline is giving her "I know you guys know I could go really far" speech)

and all of the "poor Hiranthi" confessionals we get thrown in for good measure and it seems pretty clear where the producers sat on this issue,,,, Hiranthi was cut just the very prior episode in favour for Caroline and the fact that we could have gotten more Hiranthi-goddess had this spoilt little bitch just quit one day earlier makes me fill with rage...

AFAIK Caroline went on to do very well in her HSC and then continued modelling in the most middle-class, elitist way possible

LEAH! This girl is super interesting for me, to be perfectly honest. In the trio she is part of she was the obvious first boot, simply because she was the second person cut in her cycle, and had virtually no storyline. So here she is!

The first real introduction we get to Leah is her being a right little cunt to Clare during a swimsuit photoshoot challenge, where she comments on Clare's pale complexion.




To be fair, Clare is a pale goddess (think Allison (aka Creepy Chan, aka ROBBED TWICE GODDESS) from ANTM), but Leah saying that made her a little nasty bitch in my mind and I was so happy when she got booted in Episode 2. The fact that her swimsuit photoshoot was also fugly was a bonus too:




In Episode 2, the basic bitch called Leah makes nary an appearance until judging when she gets slammed for looking boring and sleepy (just as she makes us feel), and to be honest, it IS boring and she looks like she hasn't slept in weeks.



BYE BITCH.

But here's where she gets interesting. Most of these early boots completely disappear post-show and slither back to the dark crevices they came from, never to be seen again aside from maybe a retail job in Myer or David Jones (if they're lucky). This is not what happened with Leah! She's not really what I would call super successful but the girl works, and has a lot more work under her belt than some of the winners of this show even.

She's not working in anything particularly high end or even well-known, but at least she's actually working?

This next cut could be brutal!

This will be a fun one ^_^ I keep getting all these opportunities to cut people who wrong my favourites and this is another fantastic opportunity.

Okay so Taylah actually had pretty good chances in this cycle on AusNTM, and was in the top few girls in the "pre-season elimination" episode following a "jailhouse" shoot where they literally wore black jeans, striped shirts, and their hair slicked back on some scaffolding. *yawn* Anyway Taylah didn't do too badly, though she's never been on my list of favourite girls. She just has a face that looks like she a fake little cunt. And from her post-season interviews it sounds like that's a spot on assessment.




Then they went to Thailand and did a photoshoot as "rich travellers" and she got good feedback there as well. Episode three, she gets first call-out and photo of the week. This girl is gonna be a contender to win, right????




In episode four, she came out as gay! This girl is like a walking tabloid headline, right? How much story can she bring? She's getting good feedback, she gets photo of the week, now she's on the red carpet for a challenge telling the reporter that she's gay. To be fair to her the fake reporter was asking very persistently about the people in her life and she seemed to hesitantly say she had a girlfriend in response. Not exactly the big coming out moment that one would expect, so it seems more like the producers took the opportunity to make a big huzzah over something that probably didn't even deserve any airtime. "OMG SHE GAY? BUT SHE IS SO FEMININE?!" -- point being the "obvious" lesbians never get shock edits like that, but Taylah is kind of lipstick leso so omgwowza!!!




EPIC DRAMZ

Episode 6. Broken Hill (and Broken Necks) and Broken Dreams, and some super shitty "paint protective clothing".

The girls all go to Broken Hill (Western NSW, aka bumfuck nowhere outback desert town) - if you've seen ANTM Cycle 8 where they came to Australia for their International Destination and they went into the sticks and did an "Australian Accent" challenge? - imagine that but way more bumfuck nowhere.

What they do is apparently supposed to be some pseudo-Aboriginal art lesson or some shit and then the challenge is for the girls to form two groups and make artwork on a canvas. When they're done, little Ash throws paint on a few of the others, assuming their paint-protective layers are gonna ... you know... protect their clothes. lol no. So everyone is throwing paint on everyone and Dajana starts screaming because she is wearing Taylah's shirt and the paint has stained the shirt.

Dajana goes and tells Taylah and the bitch goes mental.

First of all: everyone was throwing paint on everyone - you can plainly see multiple girls throwing it around. Unfortunately, Ashley cops shit for all of it. What happens next is Taylah goes and "jokingly" puts her hands around Ashley's throat, tells the girls and producers she's going to choke her, and then proceeds to do just that as Ashley ends up wrapping herself around Taylah in a bit to get her to let the fuck go. This leads to them toppling over, Taylah landing on Ashley's chest.

Ashley starts crying, and Taylah gives no fucks. Go to judging and the judges tell Taylah to GTFO cunt for being a violent psychopath and for some reason there were girls saying Taylah didn't deserve to be disqualified. The biggest argument in support really is Demelza and the bitchketeers not getting done in cycle 4 for bullying Alamela, but whatever. Taylah deserved to go.

Watch this lolsy recount by A Current Afair (it's like that 'news' show that gets whole segments about how the local supermarket are ripping you off by charging so much for bananas aka it's a lolsy shit show).


Oh and the best bit.

She got some fucking peace sign tattoo on her finger post-show to remind her that she's at peace with the incident now and it's on her finger because she'll always see it. lol.

Oh and her post-show modeling works sucks too.
