Yeah, sorry this shit took me so long to get to, especially considering the bitch I'm cutting is really so inconsequential that there is next to nothing to say about her. Cycle 6 did a multi-boot episode 1 much in the same vein as the bootcamp premiere of Cycle 4 except this time they threw them right into a casting for a show and Claire was one of the 4 bitches who didn't make the cut (although at least she wasn't told she was too fat for the clothes like Ashlea was, lol). They then had this really camp brief for the photoshoot where all the girls were done up like Mad Men-era secretaries and shit but poor Claire just didn't do herself any favours by completely being void of any sex appeal or appeal of any other kind and this awks photo combined with the fact that she didn't get to show her stuff in the opening runway was plenty of reason for the judges to include her in the cycle's opening massacre of 4 girls.

PDC had my back <3 I completely forgot to do the end of cycle post and came back here in a panic...

Cycle 3 is gonna be hawt, hawt hawt now that we've trimmed a lot of the model cannon fodder!

Here's the deal. I actually really liked Kathryn and having to cut her is pretty tragic. She was one of the girls I was hoping would make it pretty far. But the problem is, I also really liked Samantha. Although I think Kathryn had the better model looks on the show a review of her story arch and a comparison of their post-show work really stuck a nail in the coffin for her.

Kathryn was in cycle 6, and like Claire and Ashlea (already eliminated) she was chosen NOT to walk in the first runway show of the season - but unlike Ashlea it's not because she didn't fit, it's because she walked like a baby deer who was figuring out how to use it's long limbs.

But unlike those two, she wasn't sent home because she gave a pretty decent performance at the week's mad-men themed photoshoot:


The following week she was the first call-out (one of two or three she received during her time on the show in fact!) but the week after she was in the bottom. Bit of an up/down journey in the early episodes for Kathryn and her photos reflect this, going from stunning to stunningly average in one fell swoop.



In episode 7, she made herself THAT model. There's always one girl who unleashes the wrath of all not naturally stick-thin girls around the world by proclaiming how much they hate exercise and can't even move on a treadmill for a few minutes.



Sophie-Goddess (the girl who came 3rd in cycle 6) did an exercise session with her and Judge Alex Perry and Sophie proved her fabulosity while Kathryn whinged about having to break a sweat. She then took some pretty uggo photo but still managed to survive the week. Then returned the runway the runway this time was the streets of Sydney and she ended up eating pavement big time and had to have her shoes changed. She then delivered a decent photo but her runway was just so embarrassingly awful they sent her home anyway.

Awk.

Her post-show career has been similarly up/down. She somehow manages to deliver beautiful shots like this:
