First of all, I found out this piece of Trivia today:

As it turns out, when they filmed the promo for cycle 2 (which Trojan has put in this rankdown previously) Eboni was not there for ~reasons~ so they had cycle 1 winner Gemma film her role and digitally edited the face to match Eboni's (though they forgot to edit the very first close-up of the whole ad? lol). This is her part:




This is something that is amazing to me because I remember Eboni being really scrawny looking, and in this promo she looks like she's got some ridic hot body It makes total sense now that we know it's not actually her body. How random is that?

Anyway, so back to Eboni. Cycle 2 was one of those rare occasions where the girl I am rooting for actually wins the competition. In hindsight that was a bit of a mistake on my part, but she was the underdog, who wouldn't root for her? She came into the competition and immediately had some tough luck on the first runway when her shoe came off but she still managed to win it - probably because the early seasons are when the judges praise girls for "overcoming problems" like that - like when a girl face-plants on the runway and they praise her when she gets up and continues walking.

She also ended up with a fierce photo - in a challenge where most of the girls ended up with some real shit tbh:


and she walked away with photo of the week. She continues her top-half progression until BAM....Episodes 4, 5 & 6 happen.


TOP MODEL CAMPING!!!! There is sooooooo much drama at this point in the season that needs to be saved for the actual girls involved but omw, this episode is filled with epic dramz like one model putting horse shit into the sleeping bag of another and a stylist employed by AusNTM going into the model house and fucking one of the girls (+ another girl claiming he tried to fuck her too and threatening to sue the show if they didn't fire him)

But here we gotta talk about Eboni. At Top Model camping, they all had to sleep on the ground in sleeping bags and we learn that ~a few years ago~ Eboni was involved in a srs car accident and so she ends up waking up with back pain and gets carted off to the hospital after one night. The other girls get on with the show and assume Eboni has GTFO'd of the competition and is no longer an epic threat to win the whole thing.




LOL NOPE, she was back in the next day like nothing had happened and she competed in the photoshoot and moved on in the competition.

The next episode, Caroline (previously cut) quits the competition because she "wants to focus on her HSC" and the girls go for a swimming lesson - where Eboni loses all feeling in one of her arms. As it turns out, one of the arteries in her neck was all fucked up and meant she could have a stroke so she tells the girls she's gonna have to stay in the hospital and drop out of the competition. All the girl cried with joy as Eboni left but pretended they were actually upset. Eboni then, obv, does not compete in the photoshoot that week and the girls assume there will be no elimination that round.

#wrong. lol

The very next episode hell breaks loose. In a move of epic riggage, the production team brings Eboni back into the competition and it leads to this AWK moment:

Eboni comes back in, the girls awkwardly pretend to be happy she's back and proceed to bitch about it in confessionals for the rest of the episode

At one point, a fight breaks out and one girl (funnily the 2nd placer ) has a panic attack over it.

(this lasts a few minutes.... try your best to overcome Eboni's way of speaking and understand -

What makes this episode so. much. better. is that Eboni also gets first call-out at judging and royally gives the other girls the shits.




Eboni proceeds to kill every single challenge and photoshoot for the rest of the competition and make the haterz cry cry as she gets her Top Model crown at the Cycle 2 finale. It was 100% amazing and y'all should go watch cycle 2 right now.




The reason Eboni is getting cut before Jess is simple - Jess is a goddess who actually has model potential rather than just a fabulous drama storyline and I love Jess

In my heart of hearts I think you would want to save Izzy anyway but I had to make my intentions clear. :(

I don't think I have the proper words to describe how unpleasant and distasteful I find this common skank to be and how offended I was by her even being remotely involved in the show as it completely discredited cycle 5 as a legitimate modelling competition and exposed it for the façade that it really was.

She only lasted 4 episodes which, in retrospect, was definitely about 3 episodes too many and her time on the show was just amazingly uncomfortable since she was the most obvious filler casting/cannon fodder that Cycle 5 had and couldn't even get through the cycle's most simple photo challenge (a very simple beauty shot) without bursting into tears and having an emotional meltdown (most probably brought on by her body experiencing withdrawals from pot cheap booze or crystal meth or something IDK but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest).

In episode 2 Mirkala caused a national outrage when it was revealed she weighed a paltry 50kg (110 lbs) and when Sarah Murdoch caught sight of her hideous swimsuit photoshoot she and the rest of the judges told the dangerously skinny Mikarla that she needed to put on some weight or they were going to send her home... Cycle 5 was Sarah Murdoch's first time as host and she was also executive producer so it was refreshing to see her come in with such a no nonsense take no prisoners attitude. Here is the photo that sparked the entire ordeal..



Yeah, so Mirkala can GTFO of here because I am literally disgusted that she has already made it so far in this rankdown.

One hilarious thing is this news article about how Mikarla had to go to court after her appearance on the show for offensive behaviour and resisting police which is absoleutly riddled with inaccuracies: http://www.illawarramercury.com.au/stor ... g-charges/

A few of the zingers include:

- "The Albion Park woman, an entrant in the second instalment of the popular reality TV series" (no, she was on the fifth instalment of the show)
- "Kiama's Alyce Crawford who appeared in the show's premiere season" (again, no, Alyce was in Cycle 4 ffs)
- "Hussey was the fourth model eliminated after she tested the patience of host Sarah Murdoch with her sullen appearance in a catwalk challenge" (no, Sarah wasn't even at the challenge, that was Charlotte and Mirkarla was booted because she had a shitty attitude period)

In any case, Mikarla obviously ended up back down in Albion Park managing the local bakery or some shit like that where she belongs as she doesn't appear to be actively modelling so at least she had the courtesy to know when to stop.

This is NOT the time to cut people I love. Cycle 5, cycle 6, cycle 7...fine. Cycle 3? What do you think will stop me cutting people willy nilly if people right at the top tier of my list get cut now because you want to play games?

You can play games, and I can play games. If you want to declare war now, go ahead, but it will be war, and you could save it a few cycles at least while we weed out the rubbish.
