Okay so first of all, Trojan baby you dun goofed (I'm blaming you coz I ain't checking the list I gave you) - Allana came 7th in cycle 1, not 10th (that was Naomi girl) AND she quit

So what's there to say about her? Okay so Allana started the competition as a rando in the crowd - though when the crowd only has 10 girls in it (cycle 1 was small <3) that isn't really a compliment. But this all changed in that same season premiere episode when the gals went out to a club (back in the day when the youngest contestants were still of drinking age) and Allana - a Sydney local managed to "casually bump in to some of her BFFs" and decided to spend the night with them instead of the other contestants. Gemma, the eventual winner of cycle 1 decided Hell to the Naw to all of that, and they were involved in a bitch fight




Episode two's storyline for Allana revolved around her fear of horses and the creepy outcome of the horsey photoshoot. That was pretty much it - to make it worse it wasn't even her storyline, she had to share that shit with Atong. However, she was the first "makeover meltdown" if you can call it that, crying and bitching because her ratty disgusting hair extensions were getting pulled out, and bitching about Napoleon Perdis (Australia's premiere make-up artist/label *snooty snooty*) telling her to remove her fake eyelashes. lol okay girl.




Ofc she ends up in the bottom two - because it's awful, and then she ends up in the bottom two the next week as well... it's not looking very good for Allana, right? Probably going to get eliminated in 7th place? Well Fuck you, AusNTM she said! In a miraculous piece of proof that some girls just do not know how to live without a man, Allana calls her boyfriend, gets super depressed because she misses him, and QUITS THE COMPETITION - all in a single night!

to be fair, it's all preceded by the girls calling a house meeting to tear her a new asshole for not being the best housemate ever and meeting up with her boyfriend since this is her hometown and they were super jealous

Alright. So, I could continue on in this rankdown by holding my cards close to my chest and not revealing any of my intentions at all in regards to which girls I am hoping to see in Cycle 8 in the hopes of mystifying PDC and preventing her from making any moves against my best interests but, really, where's the fun in this thing if you guys don't learn a little bit about me on the way? Besides, if I did manage to get a bunch of my faves into the finale cycle without having named at least a couple along the way all that would happen would be PDC would call it (hilariously) a Scooby Doo reveal and I would get no credit for all my work so, in the interests of avoiding all of that I want this to be known: Shannon Richardson, to me, is a must-have in Cycle 8 of this rankdown. I legitimately have her in my top 5 girls, yes, even with those slightly (sometimes massively) distracting eyebrows I think she is one of the girls who has legitimate supermodel potential in her future and, as some of you may be slowly realising, that is a rare commodity among AusNTM contestants.

So, Madeline never really stood a chance here, lol. Like, I actually don't hate Madeline at all even if her time on the show wasn't particularly thrilling. She struggled in a couple of challenges but never sat in the top or the bottom, successfully floating through to episode 9 before being eliminated against Izzy before going on to be named Australia's Favorite Model or People's Choice or whatever they called it during the live finale which was a bit

The positives about Madeline - she was one of the girls who was closest to our dearly departed Charlotte Dawson She also hilariously went immediately to the media after being approached by one of the producers of Geordie Shore during their rampage through Sydney in 2013 and asked if she would sleep with one of the male stars which could be interpreted either as a strong woman striking out against the sexist, manipulative cronies in television production or a desperate wannabe personality looking to get a couple of additional minutes tacked on to their quickly expiring 15 minutes of fame by attaching herself to a culturally relevant entity but IDK, you decide I guess?

Some of the... less flattering aspects of Madeline include the fact that she always, always looked slightly overdone in the make-up/hair department. The girl honestly always looks like she has her prom face on and I'm surprised it didn't come up more often on the show as this is something Tyrannical is always very firm on in the US version but I guess we Aussies CBF maintaining a fake sense of legitimacy so don't mind when the non-contenders floosy themselves up or something?

Also, in some of her photos she looks like that girl in high school who was the beta-bully and subordinate friend to the alpha-bully girl - you know the one I'm talking about, right?




And - I don't know how to say this without it coming across as super cunty so I guess I'm going to just blurt it out.... *big deep breath*



In some of her photos her bung eye is so bad that it really is the focal point of the image and that is never a good thing for a model. Like, seriously, does she not look slightly unhinged or... a bit... (omg), you know, special in that photo? Yeah, I think I've sufficiently buried myself enough here and this is probably the best time to just move on.

I kinda liked Allana but maybe that is just my affinity for early cycle girls speaking. Then again, Franky is one of those girls I just took a disliking to for no particular reason and she has never really sat well with me so it might be that too...
