First of all, let's get this out in the open. I hate Rachel, probably more than most of the others contestants in this shows history. Why? I don't even fucking know. I just want to punch her is her ugly bloody face whenever I see her and I just hate her so much, especially when she robbed Izzy of 4th place and beyond by being a fugly little bitch.

This is going to be such an irrational write-up but UGH she's just so fucking shit. Throughout the season she was consistently in the top half of the pack - even though she is literally one of the ugliest girls to ever be on the show:




Then in the ~fitness~ episode all of these cycles have, she proved herself to be totally unfit and I took so much schadenfreude-laden pleasure at her failing miserably at something. Suck it, uggo mole! Despite that, the judges continued to be totally retarded and kiss her ass at every judging panel. BUT THEN IT CHANGED but it wasn't quick enough - she started getting shitty critiques and ofc I was loving it










It wasn't until AFTER Izzy was elimintated that this piece of crap got eliminated though a modeling agent did tell her she needed to work out more because she was a skinnyfat.

LOL, Belinda Hodge. Cycle 4's short-sighted (or was it long-sighted? Why are they so easily confused?), squinting goddess and failed Ugly Duckling Project. I really do feel like the intention with Belinda was to take her and transform her before our very eyes from the girl who admits to having never worn heels in episode 1 into some confident, strutting modelesque diva (I mean, surely production were crossing their fingers that this girl would "get it"), but this quickly fell by the wayside due to the nature of Cycle 4 and the dominant personalities and storyline that ran through that cycle.

Cycle 4 was the "Cycle of the Bitchketeers" a trio of girls who I've spoken briefly about before who became infamous during Cycle 4 for their "bullying" behaviour. Well, I cut the first of their victims way back in Cycle 1 and now it looks like I get the chance to cut their other victim as Belinda was also a target for the Bitchketeers during the 3 episodes she existed.

The funny thing about the whole Bitchketeers situation is that the 3 members of this clique could, you know, actually model. Like, one of them went on to win the entire competition. Yet, the two girls who were the victims of the apparent bullying were completely fucking hopeless to the point of being beyond help. FFS, Belinda fell off the stage filming the promo in the opening episode and just about flopped in every single challenge and photoshoot, including the now infamously bad Napoleon Perdis running water photo where Belinda comes across looking like a pissed off alien water creature:



Yikes.

So yeah, not that I'm defending the Bitchketeers, but I'd be pretty annoyed if I showed up for a modelling competition and had to deal with such obvious fodder cast too because they are obviously there just to be a distraction - an opinion that is completely validated by Belinda's post-AusNTM work which is hilarious in its "Best Little Whorehouse In Texas" meets "The Golden Girls" vibe.




Belinda, you're doing that wrong girl.

Okay so first of all this was an incredibly easy decision. Like... as if I was cutting Jordan - a girl who was so memorable they gave her and judge Charlotte Dawson their own short-lived reality show. I mean really.

Annaliese was one of those girls I liked in Cycle 7 - she was kind of timid but pretty in a way that makes you want them to do well even though they kind of have no idea how to take a photo - that girl you look at and thing "she could really do it if she just /got it/" but unfortunately like most girls she never did. Another thing about her that I always noticed but never really bothered me until just now trying to find good photos for this write-up is how she has a trout pout. It's beyond awful and ruins 99% of her photos. The one I picked as her elimination photo wasn't even the best angle or anything but it didn't have her enormous lips taking over her head in it.

I'll see if I can explain it. For those of you who have seen Skins (UK) or Game of Thrones, Hannah Murray plays Cassie and Gilly in those respective shows. She also has the weird trout pout but she's also managed to sort of work it when she needs to. But a good comparison is how she looks amazing as Cassie and then it is totally hideous as Gilly.







Cassie is what Annaliese would've been like if she'd /got it/. Instead she remained like Gilly. It's really awful seeing a hot shot with a jacked up mouth in it. Eg:




Anyway so in the show Annaliese was a quiet mouse of a girl - just like I said the one you kind of root for and hope she /gets it/ and the judges feel the same way. She managed to push it through till episode 5 by pipping girls who were just weird looking generally or totally lacking potential but when you deliver stuff like this (below) your time is going to expire pretty damn fast.
