Third time's not the charm I mean to be honest I don't care about this girl at all really, she got luck in the last two cycles. She's one of those girls that managed to play pretty high in the competition because she actually took (comparatively) decent photos - who went on to have virtually no career? To be fair, the cycle she was in was pretty jammed full of talent so her making Final 5 is actually pretty shocking. Even Tahnee who me and Trojan dislike had more modelling potential than Franky, so the people ahead of her all certainly deserved to be.

She made an interesting entrance to the show by being someone who was deemed Fab-you-lussss on the runway (which kind of seems like a deathwish? Usually the early catwalk stars never win) but then started drama with resident Bogan Cassi - this was pretty early so it was before everyone realised Cassi was actually really unbelievably annoying, so the other girls all jumped to Cassi's defense and Franky went and had a cry because her attempt to stir shit blew up in her face. Somehow she managed to get first call-out with this:




Not even an episode gap before she's involved in some shit again when a bunch of the girls start teasing Cassi for her elimination dress and Franky decides to showcase what she thinks Bogan-Cassi sounds like:


Then again in episode 3 (she never has a break!) she had a meltdown over her make-over and threatened to go home. To be fair, they cut all of her hair off - gross.




Then AGAIN - I wish I was kidding - in the very next episode, Franky is caught out for talking shit about everyone and the house decides to confront her before elimination. I love how the drama surrounding this girl never ends I'm already bored of this write-up now because from this point on Franky became a generic whatever contestant. Middle of the road - did well in catwalk, won a 'campaign' for a sanitary pad company.

Okay so you know Franky had a pretty whatevs write-up just a few posts back? Well she came 5th. Georgie came 11th in the same cycle, and in the show, she sure as fuck deserved 11th. That's how totally meh she was. But in a result which has proven the actual hard work and persistence are often key, Georgie is one of the few girls in AusNTM to actually have a career that amounted to more that 100 or so test shoots and no actual jobs. She's not the girl who got a token contract from a two-bit agency that never did shit for her and then didn't renew the contract. What I'm trying to say is this bitch ain't working at Woolies right now, unlike probably Franky




The first impression she left people with on the show (if there was any at all, let's be real she's a "Who?" contestant - anyone watching BBUS atm - remember Joey? You know.... the annoying smurf bitch who actually said she only surrounded herself with liberal people (US liberals, for the record. Tone wouldn't want her anywhere near his colleagues. Maybe Juliar's hairdresser partner would hang out with her? idk) was that she lack confidence...WHOMP WHOMP here comes the kiss of death! Almost never does someone lacking confidence win the competition - you get that girl who has like one episode where they complain about their body, but the girl who looks like a dear in the headlights (not the Allison Harvard kind!) from the get go has got no shot in hell. Sorry boo, you were always destined to be the early boot.

In a cute tie-in to Franky, Georgie was involved in Day 1 #bullying of Bogan-Cassi - but her role was quickly overshadowed when Franky channeled her inner DIVA and made the moment all about her sorry Georgie maybe next time.

Two episode later (episode 3) she gets #CAUGHT cheating in a challenge by applying her own make-up instead of her partner's and got





She did get in shit for it though so I guess that's something. The next mention of her is at judging when we discover she produced this shot:

So Sarah tells her she's too young for the competition (not she was 16, and 2nd and 3rd placers were also 16 - the winner being 17. The Top 3 of cycle 8 were all 16yo too) and sends her packing. Bye lol.

What has she been doing since? BEING FIERCE.

Nah, ok, I'll play properly. But geez, you're pushing your luck when you check the All Australia'sNTM site and the girl has 10 files TOTAL to her name, since that site is the best place online to grab pictures of the girls' show and post-show portfolios so yeah, 10 photos is not a lot to work with there. So here is a detailed account of Megan's entire AusNTM journey in the interests of looking like I put some effort in here.

Episode 1: Nothing - who is this girl, seriously?

Episode 2: Competes in challenge auditioning as a co-host of Channel [V] (the Australian equivalent of MTV but with 1/10th the budget). Fails within TEN SECONDS reading an autocue because READING, AMIRITE??? Photoshoot is a a thing where they terrify girls who have/want to act like they have a fear of heights (spoiler: Megan is at least ONE OF THOSE TWO THINGS), meaning Megan delivers this hulking pile of turd in photo form:



End up in the bottom two against KIMBERLY FREAKING THRUPP and is SENT HOME over KIMBERLY THRUPP. Yes, they KEPT Kimberly Thrupp, THE Kimberly Thrupp because they felt like this girl was WORSE than KIMBERLY THRUPP... Honestly! She should be proud of herself for having outranked her former foe here and also for having had the integrity of knowing when to quit at something she honestly just isn't any good at... At all.
