Okay so when I told Trojan I already knew who I was cutting, it wasn't Ashley. I LOVE LOOOOOOOVE Ashley in that way you love a puppy. Look at the puppy! It's so cute! PUPPYYYY idk I just really like her she come across as that bogan who's like... so dumb they don't know they're dumb? Think Skye from Big Brother 2014. Everything about her should make you hate her but in that specific combination she's just so loveable.

I never cared much for Samantha and she was kind of part of the B storyline on Cycle 4 and idk she's just whatever but she did come 3rd, and her post-show career is nothing to scoff at, while Ashley got knocked out much earlier and has like 30 pictures to her name. It's one of those times where I think - do I really want to rob a girl because I love the other like a puppy? Or probably more accurately - do I want to do a write-up on her right now? TBH not rly. I'd rather give Ashley a sweet write-up and not have Trojan eagle-eyeing me about making cuts he deems unworthy,

Ashley was always that girl you knew wasn't gonna make it to the end. Like, let's be real. First off - some trivia I just read - apparently the model height minimum for auditions was 172cm and Ashley (along with like 5 girls lol) were shorter than that, including 171cm Dajana (6th/5th place) and the winner..... who I seriously thought was my height - who is 165 CM TALL. THAT IS 5'5. WTF LOL. I am 3inches taller than the winner of AusNTM cycle 8 that is ridiculous. More proof of riggage or what?!!?!?! Anyway so Ashley is 170cm tall, at 18yo when she was on the show, but you wouldn't guess her age to be that high. You'd think she was the newly-16 year old that the judges rip apart for being immature. That's the bubbly Ashley I gre to love, knowing she was doomed for that very trait.

She started off her time on the show with this:


followed by the title picture of her - amazing, she's really extremely photogenic right? You'd think she was getting set to go far! She was getting good feedback and everything, it was a great time for Ash. And then in episode 3 she went to the hospital suffering appendicitis and had her appendix removed - and what did she care about? Whether it would affect her chances in the competition, in particular a scar you gorgeous adorable creature awwww. Because she's such a goddessa she still manages to produce THIS:




A short while later, we start getting really weird critiques for Ashley, like they do a photoshoot in Hyde Park, leading to this:


And the critique she got was that Alex Perry thought her bubbly attitude was annoying and her too cute attitude and look ends up having her not fit the brief of the photo apparently. :(

In episode 6 we get TAYLAH GATE.... and I am not writing that story out again - I will just link you to Taylah's write-up so you can refresh your memory.



The next few weeks are a weird up and down for Ashley - just up enough to give you hope - maybe, just MAYBE this little bogan chit from Sydney will persevere. U CAN DO EET. But at the same time she is never a standout, there's always some kind of feedback that isn't glowing. Her time is coming, and at the Final 8, her number was called and she was sent home :(
