5. Dan (okay he sucks at Survivor but he was hilarious in this episode and I love a good social outcast. He doesn't know how to talk to people. But wow Vocal Fry was right about him being annoying!)
4. Vince (WHAT A WEIRDO. I hope he doesn't enter Phillip territory and stays more of a Coach. Definitely is extremely narcissistic though. He could go down in my ranking rapidly if he starts getting (more) creepy with Jenn because it bordered on uncomfortable but for now he's hilairous.)
3. Jenn (Snarky Jessica Meuse-esque narrator YES.)
2. Shirin (Bringing together Carolyn and Max in a way that wasn't too aggressive. <3 "I'm in deep shit." <3 Yet not getting votes. <3)
1. Carolyn (WOW. She bolted so high up in my rankings. She got like 10+ confessionals and I was not expecting that at all? She's so intuitive with the tribe dynamics and it's amazing. Finding an idol <3 That conversation with Joaquin and So where she realizes she's leaving <3 That fight with So at Tribal <3 Not wasting her idol <3 I wonder why she decided to tell Tyler about it?)

There was a lot to discuss about this episode... really solid. Not as good as Cagayan's premiere but nothing can be as good as Cagayan lbr.

18. Rodney Lavoie- I really tried so hard to like him, but I can't look past the fact that he used his Sister's death to further his position, especially since it happened just 2 years ago. That's really fucked up.
17. Tyler Fredrickson- Looks like he's our boring gamebot of the season, which doesn't surprise me at all considering he was giving off serious gamebot vibes pre-show.
16. Hali Ford- Who?
15. Nina Poersch- Who? Looking forward to her #SurvivorMeltdown next week though.
14. Kelly Remington- Other than her little many argument with Dan, nothing special.
13. Joe Anglim- I didn't think Joe was too bad, he was mildly entertaining. He just gives me serious boring winner vibes. He's kinda like a mix of Ozzy/Aras/Malcolm. He's definitely the king of his tribe with making fire and completing the puzzle.
12. Lindsey Cascaddan- She was also pretty good, I loved the fact that she was laughing in Dan's face while he was talking.
11. Max Dawson- Max was surprisingly bearable. I just hope he let's loose a little bit and doesn't become a gamebot like Tyler. The fact that he's shown skinny dipping next week shows that maybe he'll have some fun out there.
10. Sierra Thomas- Not even gonna lie, only reason she is this high is cause of her being skeptical of Dan & Mike.
9. Mike Holloway- His voice still annoys me, but he was likable and sort of adorable. Him eating the scorpion without a second thought was hilarious.
8. Joaquin Souberielle- He was no Drew Christy, but I still liked him enough. I'm always a sucker for the smug players, whether they're portrayed seriously or not.
7. Shirin Oskooi- She was still good, but compared to what we saw from her pre-show, she was also surprisingly underwhelming. I was expecting her to be a star, and while she was still one of my favorites, I was really expecting her to be the star.
6. Will Sims- Really love Will. The whole sandwich scene was hilarious, and the "COME TALK TO ME BABY!" at the challenge. I feel like he'll be the MORP lovable class clown of the season.
5. So Kim- Sucks to lose her, I felt like she had potential to be a Devil queen if she lasted long enough, but that lie was terrible.
4. Dan Foley- This is probably an unpopular opinion but I honestly don't give a fuck. Dan was hilarious. He has so much potential to be like a Villainous Rupert type character and I really hope he survives on Blue Collar. Also lol @ him not giving a shit about anything. "I AM A FAT MAN" was hilarious.
3. Vince Sly- Creepy paranoid stalker type. He's actually a lot more crazy than I though he would be. Hopefully he's a Coach though and not a Phillip.
2. Jenn Brown- She's hilarious, and probably the best narrator we have based off of Ep1. She kind of is like Courtney Yates, but with a different little spice to her snarky humor.
1. Carolyn Rivera- Only 1 episode in and Carolyn has potential to be the best hag on this show, possibly ever. Hell, I didn't even like Kathy or Trish this early on. She's gonna be a STAR.

Jenn - Jenn was just fantastic. I didn't have any real expectations for her but she's clearly smart, a big fan of the show, and already in a decent position. And the snarkiness is never going to get old. Love it.
So - (RIP) This was such a sad first boot. I liked So from the get-go and seeing her go out like that was harsh. She seemed like she had so much potential. I actually didn't think her lie about the decision was that bad. I think she could have sold it a lot better but it wasn't completely unfeasible that Survivor would implement a "neutral" option since deception/honesty are always the options and anyone who's seen a season of the show knows that. So the idea of them trying a new type of twist didn't seem too out there. But then that was also what made it a bad lie so idek.
Joe - I really liked Joe. Especially because of the whole one-sided rivalry thing that Vince is developing against him. I expected him to be way more laid back but he was very take charge in building the shelter. I also thought it was funny, given how Vince was jealous of him, how he jumped in at the first part of the challenge when Vince couldn't. That must have just eaten Vince up inside.
Vince - the dude's a trip. I think that's the best way I can describe him. The petty jealousy and clinginess on day 1, the way he talked, the straight up Coach-ness. I love it. He's off to a rocky start, but I still love it.
Carolyn - She completely blew me away. I don't like her as much as a character yet, compared to the others that are above her in this ranking, but I still like her as a player so far. She's very on top of things and finding that idol so quickly was not something I expected. Major props to her.
Tyler - He's a bit mellow, but I think I like him because he's kind of like me in that regard. He seems like the quiet observer and I can dig that.
Mike - His eating the scorpion was too much. His voice also wasn't nearly as bad in the show as it was in his intro video. I totally pegged him and Dan being bros based on their bios. They have a mutual love of disc golf. I'm hoping they try to make an island disc golf setup somehow.
Max - I expected him to be more pompous, I guess, based on his bio/intro video. I mean, he definitely was, but not as much as I thought. Still like him though.
Rodney - I definitely agree with TOS about his using his sister's death as leverage in the game. Seriously douche move there. But other than that I think he's going to be a good villain and while he's probably not going to be a master strategist he still seems pretty on the ball. He and Mike are really the only 2 Blue Collars I find remotely interesting/don't find annoying at this point

Will I want to like him. He's definitely got charm and the potential to be funny, but I think I need to see a bit more of him before I can be sold on him.
Shirin - She was a bit underwhelming in the premiere, for sure, but I'm not counting her out yet. Still need to see a bit more of her
Joaquin - He's a douche. And he's trying really hard to be a villain already and not even being smart about it. He's Shannon and Drew Christy all over again. He's not as over the top as I thought he was going to be though, so that's why he's not any lower.
Kelly - for Kelly through Nina I feel the exact same, they barely got any airtime and I don't have enough to decide if I like them

Dan - I am beyond disappointed so far. I wanted to like Dan a lot. His bio was great. But he's definitely trying waaaaaay too hard to be "memorable". For a superfan he really pulled some stupid stunts with his tribe. Like, really, you're going to yell at a third of your tribe and be super condescending on the first day? Way to make a good impression, Danny boy. His fat man comment was really the only thing I found funny. That and his speedo briefs.

15. Joaquin (If his role on the season is continuing to be utterly befuddled by the game of Survivor and life and general, he'll be bumped up to green. He looks like he's about to cry half the time.)
14. Max (I don't really mind him that much? I mean yeah, there was definitely a bit of camera-whoring with the nudity but Shirin and Jenn and Hali did it too and I don't think that's too obnoxious. Love how people think Max is camera-whoring for going skinny dipping when Jenn and Hali did the same thing (albeit in a more natural, less "look at me!!" way))
13. Sierra (good shot!)
12. Kelly (residual like from last week.)
11. Hali (love how she's a ^_^ presence while giving snarky confessionals about Nina and giving awesome facial reactions to Vince. Going on adventures with Jenn next week is also totally a plus.)
10. Joe (pleasantly surprised by how he handled Vince and he was actually funny about it too. "It's like he's staring into your soul. ")
9. Will (funny dude and I like that we got an insight into his psyche this episode. He voted off Vince because Vince was talking about Will potentially being weak, so clearly he is a bit insecure about that.)
8. Lindsey (so fierce in railing against Dan because "he's trying too hard to be funny and entertaining". <3 And she's getting into an argument with Mike next week? Holy shit she's unhinged and it's fantastic.
7. Mike (holy shit yes. I thought he was going to be a static P presence but clearly based on this episode and next episode's preview he's very multi-faceted. the second coming of Butch. <3 I love how he and Dan are both off-putting alphas on that tribe, but for different reasons.)
6. Dan ("I lost my manties" lol thank god. I live for how much he's annoying people on his tribe and Vocal Fry just by merely existing.)
5. Jenn (continues to be a great narrator and I love how she turned on Vince so quickly instead of being the Sarah to his Tony. She and Hali going skinny dipping and continuing to have Surfing Adventures next week is so awesome. <3)
4. Vince (take a bow. <3 Thank god he wasn't Creepy Vince from ep1 and explored more of the Insecure Vince side. I really did not see him going home this early though. )
3. Nina (OMFG WHAT she survived??? fantastic ep2 meltdown hag. <3 "Hali, DON'T TOUCH ME." "How do you feel? " And she really fucked up the vote but it was so fun to watch. I legitimately feel bad for her. I know a lot of people are saying she's playing the victim but like, I can totally put myself in her shoes. It must be a lot of stress to be out there in the first place but to do it with a hearing problem in a game where you need social skills to stay in? Major pressure. And since when do we give a fuck why hags are melting down...?)

7. Dan (Continues to fascinate me. And at the moment he might actually be the least confrontational and hot-headed male on his tribe? Who could have expected that shift within three episodes? He almost lost me at "Your mother's a whore" though. Like I know guys say that to each other but are you really that close with Rodney that you can say that without it being completely out of the blue and weird? Clearly not. )
6. Lindsey (WOW. She's fantastic, even though it could become a little overbearing in the future. "Wish come true, motherfucker." "Did your god do come down here and light it with his beard???" She reminds me of somebody who would be on Big Brother, but like, better. I want her rage-sprials to be a continuing trend in episode previews. Can't wait for "That mindset sucks" next week!)
5. Jenn (Surfing <3 "Will sucks. They both suck. Suck suck suck." Yeah I didn't really like her treatment of Nina but I have high hopes that she'll turn the target of her snarkiness elsewhere soon enough. Hopefully toward somebody who deserves it.)
4. Mike (When I think of the dichotomy between his episode one "I ate a scorpion. That's your boy :D" edit and his episode three "I AM THE ONLY ONE AROUND HERE BESIDES MAYBE DAN WHO ACTUALLY DOES SHIT" edit, I am flabbergasted. I mean, his edit still has twinges of positivity, talking about his pastor and his faith, but I just never expected this kind of reaction toward him from his tribe. He just seems to have such a non-confrontational and generally happy-go-lucky personality but clearly his work ethic completely differs from that of the rest of his tribe. I love his character so much.)
3. Shirin (Being so enthusiastic about monkey sex <333 "Why should I need to look for the idol, Joaq? What do you mean by that? Huh? What do you mean?" <33333 She's not getting the CP edit I expected her to, but if you can't tell by now I love to be taken by pleasant surprise on this show.)
2. Nina (LMAO. <3333333333 The Nina Poersch journey comes to a sudden end. She definitely played up the victim card a little bit, but I LOVE her for that. I loved her being like "So don't bullshit me, I know I'm going home!" after Tribal and everyone being like "Um, not necessarily. " The random times when her voice would become whiny and grating made me cackle, and her speech at Tribal Council while the rain poured down her bespectacled face convinced me to keep her in. I'll miss her. But she definitely lasted longer than we thought she would, so let's praise her for that.)
1. Carolyn (Her reactions to Shirin were fantastic lol. "I don't even know where to go with that." And then lounging in the shelter and smirking while the rest of her tribe obliviously searches for the idol. She continues to BAFFLE me with her amazingness. )

Every single tribe has been delivering in immense amounts so far. Not a Kalabaw in the bunch. All the men on Escameca are batshit crazy, and Lindsey will fight back. I love how Escameca's arguments/tiffs have included:

Losing Nina and Vince sorely damaged the Nagarote brand, but I still love Jenn and like Will/Hali/Joe, and I don't think their saga is over yet. And Masaya is great what with Carolyn and Shirin COMPLETELY BAFFLING the men, and their idol hunt this episode that was actually entertaining. Who will be med-evac'd? :o
